UBD 33rd Convocation 2022

UBD Convocation in the endemic phase is a new experience this year with all of us wearing our masks. MTeach students intake 2020 were graduating this year after a long wait of graduation which was supposed to be held sometime in October 2021. Due to COVID-19 hitting Brunei as a second wave last August, everything got delayed. Nevertheless, finally, after a long wait, students graduated yesterday. I could not recognise most of the students since they were wearing the same coloured masks. I attended the afternoon’s graduation since the MTeach students' convocation session was held in the afternoon. The chancellor hall was not fully occupied since not all students and academics attended the ceremony. I managed to take some photos with my former MTeach students

and my colleagues. Taking photos during Convocation is a must for all students and academics to keep as we only got to wear our academic gowns annually which is during the convocation. Well, it looks like we will get the chance to wear our academic gown again towards the end of the year for the 2021 batch who will be graduating this year Insha Allah.
